SONATEST X6B Phased Array Probe Series   NEW!

With a similar form to the X6A series, this new B model comes with an irrigation port and has a lower frequency spectrum offering 1 Mhz and 0,5 Mhz). Combined with the Hydrogider and it's 128 mm probe aperture, it is the perfect  solution for thick and highly attenuative materials such as exotic composites

Even on lagre components the C-scan covers a wide area quickly, without compromising the mapping solution. The primary option with a 1 Mhz probe provides the ideal solution, with best measurements over a 50mm thickness, while the 0,5 Mhz  model will tackle unusual materials.

SONATEST DAAH™ – DLA  NEW!

The new DAAH™ phased array Sonatest probe series are packaged in Dual Linear Array configuration to benefit from the low noise advantage of a Pitch & Catch design and the focusing and steering capabilities of the phased array beamforming (up to 32E). Based on the unique Sonatest Detachable Active Array Head (DAAH™) design, these probes can be quickly replaced and support 2.25 MHz, 5 MHz and 7.5 MHz range of frequencies.

The new veo+ & DAAH™ DLA phased array package offers outstanding acoustic performances on stainless steel material.

WheelProbe 2

The WheelProbe 2 is proving to be unrivalled in the field of composite inspection and corrosion monitoring in terms of speed and ease of use, in addition to achieving excellent results.

Typical applications included: Corrosion Mapping, Marine Inspection, Aerospace Fuselage, Aerospace Large Area scanning and Automotive Testing.

Corrosion WheelProbe

Developed for pipe, pipeline and vessel testing the evolutionary ergonomic design of the Corrosion WheelProbe enables constant and even pressure to be applied in the testing environment, thanks to the conformable WheelProbe tyre, resulting in consistent and repeatable amplitude response.

Typical applications include: Corrosion Mapping, Marine Inspection, Aerospace Fuselage, Aerospace Large Area scanning and Automotive testing.

Array WheelProbe

Sonatest's patented array wheel probes are the result of many years of research and careful design in consultancy in the aerospace market.

It features a wide 100mm conformable rubber tyre which is acoustically matched to water, providing low loss coupling into the test part for high quality results without the need for gel or large quantities of water.

Typical applications include scanning aerospace aileron and fuselage, large area scanning, corrosion mapping, marine mast, scanning and a range of other composite testing requirements.

Single Element WheelProbe

The Single Element WheelProbe uses Sonatest rubber technology for near-dry ultrasonic coupling.

Using a single element 15 mm immersion probe, the Single Element WheelProbe is designed to operate between 1 MHz and 10 MHz and is available with a low pressure 38 mm tyre and a higher pressure 25 mm tyre.

It is complete with an optical positioning encoder and can be connected to any conventional flaw detector.
